How it works
Callio is not a diversion based telephone system. Callio utilises a sip trunk service that makes it more secure than VoIP systems because they bypass the public internet and instead use private data connections which decreases the likelihood of any breaches.
Unlike other services that provide customers with a local land line number which diverts inmate calls to a user’s mobile phone, Callio allocates users with their own personal land line number which is registered to their name and operated from the Callio app installed on their mobile phone.
This allows calls made by inmates to the local land line number to come through directly to the users mobile phone. It is this unique feature/unique system which allows Callio to offer users and inmates the cheapest telephone service available because it cuts out the additional costs of diverting the call to a mobile phone number.
Our Package
For our budget plan subscribe to Callio for as low as $19.99 a month Payment for your subscription is made at the time of registration. There are no lock-in contracts and users can cancel their service at any time. There are no cancellation fees involved. In the event you cancel the Callio service before the end of your subscription, there will be no refund for the remaining days of that subscription. Our monthly subscription is charged as a one off payment when you subscribe and the service is provided for the duration of the subscription period. If you have insufficient funds in your account, you will receive a notification from Callio. You will then have 3 days to make payment before your Callio service is suspended. Please note Callio reserves the right to immediately cancel any account if it receives notification the Callio system is being used in a manner contrary to its intended usage.
